Disclaimer, terms of use, and how to read our work.
Corevia Research is an independent research and educational publication. Nothing here is investment advice. Below is the full framing of what we do, what we don’t do, and how to read our work responsibly.
1. Nature of the service
Corevia Research (“Corevia”, “we”, “us”) is an independent research and educational publication operated by Petros Magopoulos, Corevia S.A. (in formation), based in Thessaloniki, Greece. Corevia produces written analyses of publicly listed companies, educational content on the practice of investing, community discussion, and analytical tools. Everything we publish is research and education. It reflects the personal opinions of the author(s) at the time of publication.
Corevia is not authorised by the Hellenic Capital Market Commission (HCMC / ΕΚ) or by any other regulator to provide investment advice, portfolio management, order reception and transmission, or any other regulated investment service as defined under Greek Law 4514/2018 and Directive 2014/65/EU (MiFID II).
2. What we do not do
We do not provide, and nothing on this site or in any Corevia channel should be construed as:
- personalised investment advice or a personal recommendation;
- a solicitation, offer, or invitation to buy or sell any security or financial instrument;
- portfolio management services or investment management on your behalf;
- tax, legal, accounting, or regulatory advice;
- a warranty or representation as to the future value or performance of any security.
We do not assess the personal financial circumstances, investment objectives, knowledge, experience, or risk tolerance of any reader, subscriber, or community member. Our published views do not consider your particular situation, and they should not be treated as if they did.
3. What our different tiers are, in regulatory terms
Community (Free). Access to open discussion, general educational content, and free posts. Nothing shared in these channels constitutes advice or recommendation. Community members are participants in a public discussion forum; opinions posted are those of individual members, not of Corevia.
Standard membership. Access to full research reports, premium discussion channels, community calls, tools, and disclosure of the author’s personal positions and watchlist. All of the above remains research and educational content. The disclosure of a personal position by the author is not a recommendation that any reader take the same position; personal position information is provided for transparency, not for emulation.
Full membership. Standard-tier benefits plus one-to-one educational discussions, coverage of specific companies suggested by the member, and access to the author’s working spreadsheets and methodologies. One-to-one discussions are educational conversations about publicly available information and general investment concepts. They are not, and are not held out as, personalised investment advice. Members acknowledge in a separate written agreement (executed before the first call) that:
- the conversations are educational in nature and do not constitute a personal recommendation;
- Corevia does not know, and does not undertake to assess, the member’s complete financial situation;
- all investment decisions are made independently by the member;
- Corevia is not licensed to provide portfolio management, personal recommendation, or any other MiFID II regulated investment service.
4. Author’s positions and conflicts of interest
The author of any given piece of Corevia content may hold, or may take, a position in the securities discussed. Specific disclosure appears in each research report and, where relevant, in the accompanying free posts. Standard and Full members also have access to the author’s live portfolio and watchlist as disclosed in the Members channels.
To the extent the author is employed in a professional capacity elsewhere, the following restrictions apply:
- The author will not cover any company that is a client of the author’s employer.
- The author will not use any information obtained through their professional employment in Corevia content.
- Where a company under coverage is added to the employer’s client list, coverage will be suspended and the author’s existing position (if any) will be disclosed accordingly.
5. Data sources and methodology
All financial figures, projections, and analyses are derived from publicly available information (regulatory filings, company disclosures, published research, and public data sources) or from the author’s own modelling based on such information. Where projections or estimates are provided, they are labelled as such and reflect the author’s opinion at the time. We do not have, and do not claim, access to material non-public information.
Analyses may contain forward-looking statements. Actual results may differ materially from any forecast, projection, or estimate. Forward-looking statements are opinions, not facts.
6. Past performance
Past performance, including the track record published on the Philosophy page, is not a reliable indicator of future results. Individual position returns and cumulative statistics reflect closed positions documented by the author; they do not represent the return that any particular reader would have achieved by following the author’s views. Returns shown are gross of trading costs, taxes, and any other frictions.
7. No warranty; limitation of liability
Corevia’s content is provided on an “as is” basis, without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We make no representation or warranty regarding the accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or reliability of any information published, and we do not undertake any obligation to update any content following publication.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Corevia and its author(s) will not be liable for any loss or damage (direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or otherwise) arising from any reliance placed on Corevia’s content or tools, or from any decision (investment or otherwise) taken on the basis of such content. This does not exclude or limit any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
8. Third-party content
Corevia may include, link to, or reference content produced by third parties (news services, research providers, regulatory filings, and community members). Corevia does not endorse, warrant, or take responsibility for third-party content and is not liable for any loss arising from reliance on it.
9. Community content and member conduct
Opinions expressed in the Discord community or any comments section reflect the personal views of individual members and are not endorsed by Corevia. Members are responsible for their own contributions. Corevia may moderate, edit, or remove content and may suspend or terminate access for conduct that breaches community standards or applicable law.
10. Tools and software
The Portfolio Platform, Risk & Reward Tool, and Trading Journal are analytical tools provided for educational and self-directed use. They compute results based on inputs supplied by the user and on standard financial methodologies. They do not provide advice. Data is stored locally in the user’s browser; Corevia does not receive, store, or access the user’s tool inputs. Users are responsible for their own data backups.
11. Jurisdiction and eligible readers
Corevia’s content is directed to readers residing in the European Union and Greece. Readers accessing the site from other jurisdictions are responsible for compliance with applicable local laws. Corevia does not undertake to make its content compliant with the securities laws of any specific jurisdiction other than Greece and the EU.
Certain content, including specific research reports and paid-membership materials, may not be made available to persons resident in jurisdictions where local law would require Corevia to register, obtain authorisation, or otherwise comply with requirements that would be materially burdensome. Access to premium content is a privilege granted at Corevia’s discretion.
12. Subscription terms
Paid memberships are billed on the frequency agreed on the discovery call. Subscribers may cancel at any time, effective at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial periods, except at Corevia’s discretion or where required by consumer protection law. The Full membership is contingent on the signed acknowledgement referenced in Section 3.
13. Privacy and data handling
We collect only the information necessary to operate the service (account and billing information, subscription status, and any information you voluntarily share in the community or in one-to-one discussions). We do not sell user data. We use standard third-party providers for payments (Stripe), site hosting (WordPress.com), and community infrastructure (Discord). Each of these providers has its own privacy policy which applies to your interaction with them. Requests to access, correct, or delete your personal data should be sent to magopoulospetros@gmail.com.
14. Intellectual property
All content, tools, methodologies, and materials produced by Corevia are the intellectual property of Corevia or its licensors. Standard and Full members may use the content for their personal, non-commercial investment research and education. Redistribution, republication, systematic scraping, resale, or commercial use of any Corevia content requires prior written permission.
15. Amendments
Corevia may amend these terms and this disclaimer from time to time. Material changes will be notified to subscribers by email or via a prominent notice on the site. Continued use of the service after such amendments constitutes acceptance of the amended terms.
16. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Hellenic Republic. Any dispute arising in connection with these terms or with any use of Corevia’s content shall be submitted, where consumer protection law does not require otherwise, to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Thessaloniki, Greece.
17. Contact
Questions about this disclaimer, or any of Corevia’s content, should be directed to magopoulospetros@gmail.com.
Notice. This document is a good-faith draft assembled from standard language used by unregulated research publications operating in the EU / Greek regulatory context. It is not a substitute for review by a qualified Greek securities lawyer. Before publishing this page and before onboarding any paying member, arrange a written review of this text, the Full-tier acknowledgement referenced in Section 3, and the subscription terms with a lawyer familiar with HCMC and MiFID II. A one-off review is inexpensive relative to the cost of getting the framing wrong.
